Smart Pantry Redo
Having a pantry in the first place is a dream for many homeowners, and once the dream becomes a reality, there’s often still work to do. I’m still a novice room-transformer so doing a small room like a pantry seems like one of the most do-able room remodels to start with. Over at Honey + Fitz, Dina took a pantry that was large, but there was “nothing well planned or smart about this builder grade room other than it being big for a pantry,” and transformed it into a beautiful room. More importantly, the room is now well-organized and easy to use.
Decor Hack: Smart Storage Idea: Upright File Pan Storage
Dina made some really smart organizational choices in this room. I love her decision to store pans upright, separated by shelf-dividers, and to hang linens like tablecloths on a hanging towel rack. I need to use that towel rack hack in other areas of my home too — like in my craft room. It would be fun to see pretty fabric displayed that way!

Also notable are Dina’s use of chalkboard paint on a wooden crate to allow for quickly-labeled storage of odd items, as well as her brilliant Kitchenaid Mixer storage solution: she put the mixer on a rolling cart and turned it into a mobile “baking station.”

There are lots of other smart and functional details in Dina’s pantry remodel, so be sure to go over and check them out, as well as the full before and after photos.

I am digging that awesome color of blue/aqua she put on the walls.
I recycled the pullout shelf from my broken dishwasher for lid storage in my bottom cabinet. The wheels on the shelf rolls easily out for easy access. Worked great!
