DIY No-Sew Pleated Ottoman
I have a confession to make. I own two sewing machines, yet I very rarely sew. On the random occasion that I do get one of them out, it’s usually for something very simple and straightforward, like hemming skirts and other projects that only require sewing in a straight line. Silly as it is, I’m highly intimidated by sewing projects. If you, too, are a member of the I-wish-I-was-a-seamster club, you’ll be happy to see this fab no-sew pleated ottoman by Diane of In My Own Style. That’s right, this is really a needle- and thread-free project!
While you won’t be needing any sewing skills for this project, it does require some very basic carpentry skills. (Or a husband who doesn’t mind making a few cuts and driving a few screws on your behalf!) Alternatively, you could hack the base using a crate.

I know I’ve seen this ottoman before, and loved it. I am so intimidated by the sewing machine. My grandma gave me a beginner machine over a year ago and I have still not learned how to use it. Maybe one day…? Thanks for posting this, I’m off to go read about creating this ottoman now.
Looks awesome.
