Old Lamp Becomes New Table
This was an inadvertent Anthro knockoff; Erin (a.k.a. Richmond Thrifter) came across a $298 table amongst their selections that looked very similar to the one she’d already made. That’s got to be a sure sign of a good idea! Her version is constructed using two things readily available at Goodwill stores everywhere: a lamp and a picture frame. These are also good items to look for at yard sales now that they’re coming back into season, where you can probably haggle enough to put the total cost for this project at $10 or less. Cha-ching!

THANK YOU so much for featuring my table!!! I’m thrilled to see my creation on your website! So exciting! Made my day FOR SURE!
How do I connect the lamp and picture frame? I have both painted and ready and I just can’t figure out the best way.
The original creator used Gorilla Glue, and I would use something like that (E-6000) is another option. Unless, of course, you can drill through the back of the frame if it’s removable. That’s yet another option.
Great idea. I love a turned table base but never considered a lamp.
