DIY Faux Coral
Nothing gives your home personality quite like a few quirky accents. Inspired by some faux coral from Pottery Barn but not so thrilled with the price tag, Beth from The Stories of A to Z set out to make her own. The pricey PB coral starts at around $25 per piece on the “cheap” end of the spectrum and goes up to over $100. To get the same look for a whole lot less, she took a trip down the pet supplies aisle and bought some fish tank decorations. After a treatment with some glossy white paint, she ended up with a finished product that looks nearly identical to the designer version at a fraction of the cost. Fill up a whole shelf with them and you could save enough cash to pay for a snorkeling trip and see some real coral!

Now that’s just brilliant!
Thank you!
