Every modern home needs some practical items – and this DIY magnetic tray illustrates one of my favorite craft and decor tactics: pair the unexpected. The tray shape and design is very traditional, but Candace gave it a painting treatment that makes it really modern. She doesn’t like her hand painting job at the bottom, but I absolutely love it.
