Wall Storage Bins from Old Crates
I grew up in a house with seven people (I have four younger brothers) and shoe storage was always a huge issue. I can’t tell you how many times my dad got frustrated that we left our shoes all over the place. The problem? There wasn’t enough places to put our shoes to make them easily accessible near the door. While I can’t read the site that I spotted these crates on (it’s in Norwegian), I can get the jist of the project. Simply take old crates, paint them and then attach them to the wall. It’s functional and actually adds a bit of color and charm to your space as well. I’m definitely going to give this one a try, though I may not use quite as many crates.

Those crates look awesome! Great color scheme too. Not only that, but I think I’m in love with that rug. My wife’s been looking for a rug like that for a while… probably gonna have to hunt that one down!
