Cross Stitch Mural
This cross stitch mural is just the right blend of funky, vintage, modern and . . . . beautiful. I’m loving how cross stitch is coming back in a big way, but not just in the typical embroidery style that we’re all used to. The great thing about cross stitch is that it’s the same principle as the needlework. If you can make an “x,” then you can cross-stitch anything. That includes paintings on the wall as well. What else can you apply this principle to?

OMG! i loooove it! i think this is the perfect idea for my shabby-chic bedroom! thanks so much for posting!
I thought about doing this on a huge, blank wall in my kitchen. My mom is a teacher and has her own overhead projector, so I am going to print out a cross-stitch pattern onto transparency film and project it onto the wall. Now that I’ve seen it done I want to do it even more!!
