Upcycled Moroccan-Inspired Lanterns

When you are creating DIY projects, don’t be limited by the expected use of a material.  Look at the silhouette, the patterns, and the colors and you may suddenly be able to see the material in a whole new light.  These lanterns (or vases!) are made from the perforated aluminum that is most commonly used to cover radiator vents.  The lovely pattern resembles those found on Moroccan lanterns, so with a little creativity, the commonplace becomes beautiful!
