Illustrated Drum Shades
How sweet is this illustrated drum shade? I love the idea of children’s book inspired drawings for a children’s room, but this same idea can be used to make more grown-up light fixtures for all around the house. Although, I think a squirrel giving a little girl a piggyback ride is considered a neutral and can be used everywhere. And, if it isn’t, it should be. If you don’t have the illustration skills of the folks from Hutch Studio, you could print off an image, tape it to the inside of the shade, turn on the light and trace the drawing on the outside of the shade.
