Creating a Backyard Oasis
Not-so-very-long ago the patio near the pool was re-done at my house. You can’t see the pool in this image, but it’s right at the bottom left. Once this gorgeous stone patio is finished, it needs what every awesome patio needs – a set of chairs and a table! I’ve got nothing right now, so I’ve been perusing furniture online. I want good quality but I don’t want to spend a fortune. Have you seen what Sears has to offer this summer? They have great pieces at great prices. Browse their online catalog to see more.
Here’s what I spotted that I loved:
I really love this Garden Oasis Retro set – I even Mod Podged one of these chairs for my book Mod Podge Rocks! This furniture is better for a front porch though (in my humble opinion) and also not comfy enough for by the pool.
Same with this French Bistro set. I absolutely love it but it would be better in a small garden. So I started looking at bigger pieces.
This Agio Wessington Firepit set is beautiful. I love the curves of the wood chairs, the color of the cushions and of course, the firepit. I MUST have a firepit (I just decided that).
THIS Prescott set is absolutely beautiful. And what I really love about it is how comfortable it looks. Can you imagine hanging out by the pool with a mai-tai in hand?
This Country Living Highland set is a bit more traditional, but I love the styling of the chairs, the cushion colors and the fire pit.
And finally, I could go a bit more basic with the Colebrook set. I’ll tell you what, I could sink right into those cushions. I also love the subtle gray color and the simply styling of the chairs.
