Chocolate Raspberry Soy Shake
Are you a fan of soymilk? I am! I’m on of those people that can’t really drink milk – it doesn’t make me feel well! I don’t want to be denied all of the delicious recipes that dairy typically affords, so I drink Silk. And here’s the funny part: it wasn’t long after first tasting it (especially the yummy flavors) that I decided I like it better than regular milk. And I still get all of the nutrients and benefits that regular milk provides. Winning!
I did a little experiment recently using one of Silk’s new Silkology recipes. The Berry Mint Chocolate Bliss recipe caught my eye and so I decided to make it my own.
I started with some basic ingredients – Silk in Very Vanilla, chocolate chips, raspberries and a blender. This recipe is really, really easy.
Simply fill the bottle with Silk, then add raspberries. I added about two handfuls.
Pour in chocolate chips – I recommend about 1/4 cup of chips. Blend thoroughly.
Enjoy your delicious shake! Mine was SO tasty – and you can add more or less raspberries and chocolate chips to suit your own taste. This is a great late summer recipe. What a great dessert after a barbecue, or for kids who need a snack when they come home from school. It’s still hot out and this drink is so refreshing!
Silk inspired me to think outside of the bowl with their new Silkology-inspired drink recipes. Tell me something new you want to try this summer when entertaining to win a Silkology prize package.
