Faux Porcelain Clam Shell
Mich. L. is a fantastic source for innovative, artistic DIY projects. She was inspired by a pricey designer clam shell made of porcelain but was able to replicate the look with a plastic dish and some paint. By happy accident, she didn’t have to paint the interior of the dish because the translucent blue plastic made for a very pretty effect against the white paint. Don’t be afraid to makeover objects in your own room, you might end up with similar serendipitous results!
