Find Beauty in the Fall
This post brought to you by Scotts Miracle-Gro. All opinions are 100% mine.
I've been trying to get some inspiration for a fall garden. I've got a large balcony at my apartment, and right now it's sitting there blank and unused. I need some fancy chairs and a table, as well as some potted plants. Time for some Fall gardening! To get help figuring out how to decorate my balcony, I visited Pinterest for some inspiration. I love these hanging shelves by Meg of Revamp Homegoods. I'm going to need some help with the sawing, but I love this look (and the brightly colored pots!).
This dinosaur planter from guest posted by Hillary at Craft-O-Maniac is, um, amazing. I just need to pick my spray paint color, which will obviously be blue, given that blue is my favorite color. This would look so cute on a side table.
Another side table project – herbs planted in teacups with DIY stamped spoon markers. I'm going to have to figure out how to successfully raise herbs because I nuked the last batch (not on purpose).
And finally, a fun potted plant hanger option spotted at Enjoy It – and I could hang these from the balcony above me or from one of those shepherd looking rod thingies (what are they called?).
I feel like I have enough ideas, now it's time to get my container garden going. I'm not really sure what to plant, which is why Miracle-Gro's website comes in handy. They have a section all about how to "Find beauty in the Fall" by selecting plants that work for your area of the country. Looks like I'm going to be investing in some vegetable flowers to get my pretty fall garden going! I'll definitely be using Micracle-Gro Potting Mix. It's ideal for all sorts of potted plant gardens, and the continuous release system is awesome because it feeds plants for up to six months. Nice!
