Budget Holiday Table Decorating

Are you hosting any holiday soirees? I like to have a dinner with my closest friends each year – a special dinner outside of the normal Thanksgiving and Christmas, with about ten friends. I don’t go “all out” very often, and I don’t cook very often, but for this holiday party I love to make the decorations really special.
I’m on a budget this year, so I decided to head to my local Dollar General to see what supplies I could purchase. I was so impressed with the Dollar General Holiday décor selection! There were tons of ornaments, tablecloths, string lights, tabletop, dinnerware and all sorts of items for holiday decorating. I hadn’t been to a Dollar General in awhile, so it was refreshing to see all of the awesome holiday goodies they had in stock. Items that were especially perfect for my holiday table.
I ended up purchasing a holiday tablecloth, chargers, and gift ornaments that you can see in the image above. Doesn’t my table setting look like a million bucks? And guess what – I spent less than $20 on everything! I was also able to buy a small ornament gift for everyone and place in the center of the plate. My guests are going to be thrilled.
I also wanted to share another something special I will have on the table for my holiday party. I couldn’t resist this cute little wine bottle decoration with the snow hat! Is it not so fun? Who doesn’t love a wine bottle in a sweater? I loved shopping at Dollar General for my holiday table decor – the prices were awesome, especially for what I got. I can’t wait to show off my beautiful holiday table!
